I seem to have more than one Bart in my collaborative efforts. Now Bart Kip was the first one. We met at a big business fair here in town at the Martini Plaza. Bart owns a company in industrial design, Brightbird Design, and has a huge amount of experience, starting his career at Philips and moving on from there.

Now when I met him at the fair I had to wait at his booth until he was available. The reason I waited were the drawings pinned to the walls of his stand and even the one beside it. They were cartoons, playful cartoons.

So when he saw my Mutant Worm video, which I had only just finished, I learned that he would have liked to do animation. Before long he was knocking on my door, again and again. Most of the stuff is under NDA, most of it is very slick, but we try to work in humor when we can. There’s a more cartoony one that I wish I could share, but this’ll have to do for now.

Besides those many under NDA with raving reception – you’ll have to take my word for it –  we’ve done several videos now for Spark Holland, together with 3D specialist Scott McLachlan.

I’ll put a short one with a cow underneath. That wasn’t a technical animation but for a farm camping.
