Several times now, I’ve been asked to do an animation to introduce a lecture. They’re great fun to do — in part due to their subject matter — and are well received by the live audience.
Since they actually get shown to a live audience, it means I get to hear about the audience response. There are raptured faces and there is laughter. Applause at the end along with lots of enthusiastic comments appear to be common, which is good to hear. Hurray for us 😉
As an added bonus, the animation also proved to help spouses understand what ‘it’ was all about.
